Milner Motors was founded in 2005 to develop innovative transportation solutions. Based in Vancouver, Washington and Bethesda, Maryland, we believe that a truly clean-sheet approach to vehicle design can produce commercially viable vehicles that respond to today's environmental and energy needs in a way never before possible.
Our clean-sheet approach incorporates advanced materials, batteries, control systems, and power train design into a highly aerodynamic vehicle that maintains the traditional four-door, four-seat, four-wheel design. We do this by developing specialized talent in-house and by working with partners that can provide the specialized knowledge and technology needed.

The Milner Motors Team
James Milner, Founder
Jim leads the Milner Motors team from his offices in Vancouver, Washington. Prior to founding Milner Motors in 2005, Jim founded and ran two successful businesses. The businesses were Aviation Seminars, a two-day weekend aviation exam preparation company, which he founded and ran from 1972 to 1997, and LaserGrade Computer Testing, which he founded and ran from 1995 to 2004. Both businesses were sold and continue operating under new management today. Jim also worked as a pilot with United Airlines from 1969 to 1984.
Chris Milner
Chris joined Milner Motors in 2006 and focuses on the onboard vehicle control systems, power train engineering, government relations, and industry partnerships from his offices in Bethesda, Maryland. Prior to his involvement with Milner Motors, Chris' career involved 17 years in various information technology and management consulting roles in the Washington, D.C. area. Chris received a B.S. and M.S. in Engineering from Lehigh University. Chris is an instrument rated pilot.
